Eugene Potemkin's E-Rating

It is extreme simple method of calculation of a rating of an estimation of performance of a team in the championship. It does not depend on a sequence of matches. As is a necessary condition for summarizing all championship. 

It not a rating for prediction and not a rating for an explanation of results of matches. They basically should contain time-dependent parameter. For example rating Elo will change, if you change the order of realization of matches.

For a rating of force (Pi)

Li * Pi = Sum (Lji * Pj)

Here Li - number of defeats of a team "i"

Lji - number of defeats of a team "j" from a team) "i"

Pi - a rating of force of a team "i"

Pj - a rating of force of a team "j"

You have the N linear equations.

One of equations replace with a condition  Sum Pi = const

Or simply believe anyone Pi = 1. This team also will be "standard" for others.

But with the same basis we can construct a rating of "weakness". In this case we are founded on statistics of wins (Wi)

For a rating of weakness (Si) the same:

Wi * Si = Sum (Wji * Sj) and

Sum Si = const

Or for one of teams Si = 1

Here Wi - number of victories of a team "i"

Lji - number of victories of a team "J" from a team "i"

Si - a rating of weakness of a team "i"

Sj - a rating of weakness of a team "j"

And at last a final E-rating for an estimation of the participant of competitions

Ri = Pi - Si
